Website revamp

Website revamp and redesign

If your website looks dated, is slow, or is hard to change, we'll revamp it. We keep what's working, fix what isn't, and rebuild it from scratch so it feels like yours again.

Drag to compare. Before and after, an illustration: a made-up bakery, not a real client.

Signs your website needs a revamp

What we keep, and what we fix

A revamp isn't starting again from nothing. We sort your current site first: the parts that already work come with you, and the parts that hold you back get rebuilt.

We keep

  • Your domain, so nothing changes for the people who know it.

  • Your best pages and words, the ones that already bring people in.

  • Your search history: old addresses redirect to the new pages.

  • Your brand, if it still fits. If not, we can refresh it.

We rebuild

  • The design, rebuilt around your customers today.

  • The speed, especially on phones.

  • The editing, so you can change it yourself.

  • Accessibility and security, checked before launch.

Redesign or revamp?

People use both words. A redesign often means a new look. A revamp is a new look and a new build underneath it.

We do the full revamp: rebuilt from scratch, not reskinned. It's the only way to fix the speed, the editing and the security properly, not just the surface. See how we handle design and development.

A revamp rebuilds every layer.

Your search rankings come with you

The worry with any redesign is losing your place on Google. When page addresses change, every old address is pointed at its new page with a permanent redirect, so visitors and search engines who follow an old link land in the right place, not on an error.

We keep the pages that already bring people in, carry their words across where they still work, and check the old addresses before and after launch.

Old addressNew page

  • /index.php?page=about
  • /products.html
  • /gallery_2019.htm
  • /contact-us.asp
  • /opening-times.html
  • /bread
  • /cakes
  • /about
  • /visit
  • /order

Each line is a permanent (301) redirect. Addresses made up for the illustration.

Questions people ask.

Anything else? hello@darbcreative.com. We reply within one working day.

How much does a website redesign cost?

It depends on how many pages you need and what you already have. After the call we give you one clear price, before any work starts.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

We carry your old page addresses across with redirects and keep the pages that already bring people in, so search engines can follow the move.

Can you keep my current domain?

Yes. We can work with your domain and hosting, or move them for you.

How long does a website revamp take?

Usually two to nine weeks, depending on the size of the website.

Can you keep my logo?

Yes. Or, if it no longer fits, we can refresh it with you.

Is the site mine?

Yes, the site is yours. We can host it and look after it for you, or you can host and look after it yourself.
